RIO DE JANEIRO

This photographic journey is designed to experience 6 days in Rio from within, moving through the city while observing and capturing its everyday life and atmosphere. Along the way, we will immerse ourselves in Carnaval, from spontaneous blocos across the city to a rehearsal night at Estação Mangueira, and a night inside the Sambódromo.
Guided by Andrés Manner, who lived and worked in Rio, the experience offers a unique way of navigating the city. His familiarity with its rhythms and nuances allows the group to move with confidence, creating the conditions to observe and photograph with intention.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This experience is designed for those who have a basic understanding of their camera and are open to immersing themselves in a dynamic environment. It’s for participants who enjoy observing, moving through the city, and sharing the process with others who have similar interests. More than a structured workshop, it is an opportunity to step away from routine and engage fully with photography and the energy of Rio during Carnaval.
HOW IT WORKS
The school will arrange accommodation, as well as access to key experiences, including a rehearsal night at a samba school and entry to the Sambódromo. Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights and covering their meals, while the instructor will select places to eat based on our locations throughout the trip. This structure allows you to focus on the experience, the photography, and the rhythm of the city.

What’s Included.
Participation in the photographic experience and one individual online review session after the trip.
What’s Not Included.
Flights, accommodation, and meals are not included. Restaurant options will be selected by the instructor within a reasonable budget.
Cancellation Policy.
Cancellations are eligible for a 75% refund of the total payment if done before August 30.
Changes.
The schedule may be adjusted due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
